RCCD was developed because I was tired of having to give the CD player focus to issue commands. This CD player relieves you of having to do that by allowing you to assign hot keys to the available functions. The CD player can be controlled in one of two ways: When you right click on the CD player, the standard menu has commands for controlling the CD's play. Additionally the standard hot keys are as follows: Ctrl+Shift+P: Play/pause Ctrl+Shift+F: Forward a track Ctrl+Shift+B: Back a track Ctrl+Shift+E: Eject Ctrl+Shift+S: Stop Ctrl+Shift+R: put the CD player in the tray. Ctrl+Shift+O: Skip Forward Ctrl+Shift+A: Skip Back Ctrl+Shift+C: Close the CD tray (only on players that support this function) Ctrl+Shift+K: Toggles the above hot keys as enabled or disabled. Use this to use the same key strokes for another application without having to unload the CD player itself, or have conflicting commands being issued. Ctrl+Shift+R: CDDB reload (registered users only To select a track, right click the visible cd player (or single click the tray icon) and select the track menu. The list of tracks is available from this menu. Double clicking the tray icon will re-display the CD player. The volume aspect of the CD player still needs some work and is not enabled. Right clicking the CD player (either in the tray or on screen) will display a menu that has all available functions on it including settings. Select properties and make your hot key selections in addition to other settings. If you really want to encourage me, please register. And if you don't... well, just send me a nice email.
